10 years Ochra Blue. An art space in one of the most beautiful islands, Limnos. A name that refers to the colors of the earth, the wheat fields and the sea that spreads out in the summer sun. A space that was made out of love for art and creation and continues its operation with the same love as in its beginning – and even more. An intimate and friendly space that organizes and hosts exhibitions that cover a wide range of artistic creation in a variety of ways. 10 years in which young and established artists presented their work in solo and group exhibitions: painting, drawings, engravings, sculptural compositions, ceramics, jewelry, design and applied arts proposals. Following a philosophy for contemporary art centered on highlighting original, qualitative and aesthetic options, with respect for the public and the wider art world, Ochra Blue invests in communication, circulation and the dynamic functioning of the artistic work as a way and attitude of life, in a critical time. But above all and before all in this area, the people stand out. Zanna and Nikolas, the artists, collaborators and friends • the joy of meeting and working together, the thrill of response and acceptance, the enjoyment of creation, the energy of the world. And all this in a magical and mythical place, a place where the ocher meets the deep blue, in Lemnos.
