Nikos Kryonidis
… I draw to approach the hollow of the sculpture and to understand perhaps the meaning of time inside and outside. I hide and paraphrase the form and therefore transform it from an image to a painting, exhausting the infinite possibilities of writing with a sketchy drawing, ree and linear, as objects move, as they shade the landscape and are shaded by it, as light analyzes and transports their colors, as living beings describe themselves in movements and speeds defined by the respective needs of survival. Forces and matter that are twisted, crushed, pulverized. Traces evaporate, numbness, breath of wind, wave and dust, breath accelerating.
